i had every intention of going and joe turow and i exchanged emails about it. unfortunately, the day before the conference is UW'S GRADUATION - there is no way that i'd miss graduation day, especially after knowing some of these students for 4, 5 years. so, unfortunately, i won't be attending.

David,

First, I wanted to say congrats on your new position at USF! And that your blog definitely inspires me with your activism and new media links.

Second, thanks for the link to the Annenberg conference! Awesome opportunity! I registered and am planning to go.

Third, my wife and I just had a baby girl who's now 10 weeks old!

Lonny (I'm at Cal State East Bay formerly Hayward now)
